1) Solar Caps: A Small cap with a solar panel fitted on the top of the cap, and a fan fitted on the front flap of the cap. 2) Solar Mobile Chargers: These are cool products for anyone using a mobile phone. No consumption of conventional electricity, you can charge your mobile using the Sun’s light energy which gets converted into electrical energy using Solar Photovoltaic cell technology. On an average, if you charge the Solar Mobile charger in direct sunlight for 2 to 3 hours, then you will have sufficient charge to power up a mobile which has to be fully charged.
3) Solar Lantern: This is a simple application of solar photovoltaic technology, which has found good acceptance in rural regions where the power supply is irregular and scarce. Even in the urban areas, people would prefer a solar lantern as an alternative during power cuts because of its simple mechanism. These Lanterns are made of LED bulbs which have a distinct advantage of consuming lower power, while giving higher intensity if a proper mechanism is used to collect the back light and reflect it forward.
